Impact Research Group Ltd of Vancouver, British Columbia, manufactures an integrated emergency response software package and Strohl Systems of Plymouth Meeting, PA, markets the Living Disaster Planning Recovery System. Additionally, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provides state and local governments with training and evacuation-planning software. Geographic information systems also aid localities in tracking geography and planning for catastrophes."
